How do install my SIM card?

For use with the modified Iridium 9500 Series phone
Please review your users guide that is provided with your phone. Once you receive your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card, DO NOT punch out the smaller chip. Before you install the SIM card, make sure the phone is off. Remove the bottom cover of the phone. This will reveal a slot at the top (with the keypad facing up) where the SIM card will slide in. Insert the SIM card into the slot*. Install the battery, put the battery door back on the phone and attach the charging device.

* Note: The SIM card should be inserted with the arrow facing upward and toward the phone.

For use with the Iridium 9505A Series phone
Please review your users guide that is provided with your phone. Once you receive your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card, punch out the smaller chip. Before you install the SIM card, make sure the phone is off. Remove the battery door on the back of your phone and slide the SIM card tray to the left so you can lift up the right side of the tray. Insert the SIM chip into the SIM card tray (the phone is designed so that the SIM card can only be installed correctly) and install the battery. Put the battery door back on the phone and attach the charging device.
