Dear SkyRouter Customer:

At Blue Sky Network we continuously strive to improve your Asset Management solution. This is true for both the SkyRouter Portal and for our D-series products, including the ACH1000 control head, released in December. In this issue of SkyRouter NEWS, we are proud to announce several new enhancements that will make your day-to-day fleet management safer and more efficient. All of these features are added at no additional cost to you.

UPDATES TO THE MAP PAGE

Size does matter: More and more of our customers are using large LCD or plasma screens for their asset tracking. To accommodate these large screens we have updated the map page in SkyRouter to automatically size the map to the size of your screen.

Saved Views: We also learned from many customers, especially those who operate in different regions of the world that we needed to improve the map navigation. We have done that by adding the concept of saved views. Users can now save the current "view" on the screen by giving it a name, such as "Gulf of Mexico" or "South Greenland". To go to a Saved View, simply select it from a dropdown menu on the map page.

Asset filtering: It is now possible to filter what type of asset to view, Aircraft, Boats, or Vehicles from the map page.

SYSTEM NOTIFICATIONS

Although we try hard to keep SkyRouter running 24/7, we do sometimes have to perform maintenance, or we experience intermittent system outages. To better inform our users of planned or unplanned system outages, we have introduced a new System Notification. The System notification works as follows:

Users who are logged in to the system will automatically see the system notification (within a minute of the notification being posted) in the main SkyRouter screen. The notification will display on top of the running clock.
Under user preferences (the Pref tab) users can sign up to have the System Notification email to them directly.
Currently posted System Notifications can be viewed from the Messages tab.Please take a moment to login to your account and sign up for these notifications if needed.

PREPARATION FOR D2000 RELEASE

In preparation for the imminent release of our new land and marine tracking products, the D2000M and D2000MD, the SkyRouter system has been updated to accommodate communication with these units.
