ACH1000 Certified and Released

After months of waiting for the FAA to approve our application, Blue Sky Network announced the certification and availability of our ACH1000 advanced control head. The ACH1000 is a revolution in the aviation industry. Coupled with a Blue Sky D-Series flight tracking terminal the Dzus mounted control head offers new flexibilitynot available beforein one unit.
For example, Iridium voice calls can be integrated with the aircraft audio panel. Pilots can choose from 10 configurable speed dial numbers, or they can dial a number directly on the 2 line LCD display, a real panel dialer. Of course, incoming calls are also available with clear audio and visual indication to the crew.
But that is not all. Integrated with our industry leading SkyRouter asset management portal, the ACH1000 allows pilots the ability to send short code messages (e.g. Diverting, Request Wx, Picking Up) and flight trip plan information to dispatchers on the ground. Dispatchers can even send free form short text messages to the pilots in the air, such as weather or new routing instructions.
Naturally the features of the D-Series terminal are preserved; ground personnel can still track the aircraft anywhere in the world directly from the SkyRouter global map display.
Please note that some D-Series terminals may need to be upgraded to function properly with the ACH1000 control head.
