Global Flyer
In early 2004, Blue Sky Network teamed up with Steve Fossett and the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer team to provide global flight tracking, engine monitoring and 2-way email messaging for the first every solo, non-stop flight around the globe. The Global Flyer is equipped with a Blue Sky Network D1000 and a portable Iridium phone.
Global Flyer is ready for take-off any day, just awaiting for ideal weather conditions at the Salina, Kansas, US take-off base. To track the progress of the flight, using minute-by-minute updates from the D1000, go to the Global Flyer web-site:

Announcing the D1000C
Blue Sky Network is proud to introduce its newest FAA certified Iridium SATCOM product, the D1000C. A close relative of the D1000, this compact model offers lighter weight and lower cost. The D1000C is the perfect companion for the new advanced control head, the ACH1000, that will be available in Q2, 2005. The ACH1000 exploits the D-Series products, offering data and voice capabilities, with easy integration of the voice component into the intercom system.
